Claire Bauerle enjoys walking in the woods. She has an M.A. in creative writing and has taught composition at a community college. Her poems have appeared in the Oakland Review, Three Rivers Poetry Journal, Great Stream Review, Pennsylvania Review, and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. She has strong roots in Western Pennsylvania.
