Robert Rosenberg is one of the few American poets to have lived in a converted chicken coop. Paper Pagoda Press is honored to publish Optoacoustic Sidewalks, a selection of Bob’s poetry and prose. It is our first book!

Published in 2004, the book received very minimal attention and very minimal sales. It remains a classic book of American poetry.

In Robert Rosenberg’s poetry and prose, urban insight is combined with a
feeling for nature.

The moon’s halo rises over the "dream-mountains of spring"; the rain might fall "in its true, / unbroken grace."

The realities are emotional; the pain and the passion are direct. It is a poetry with beauty and a poetry with little insulation offering to the reader the chance for involvement and the sharing of an understanding that is not easily reached.
