In Robert Rosenberg’s poetry and prose, urban insight is combined with a The moon’s halo rises over the "dream-mountains of spring"; the rain might fall "in its true, / unbroken grace." The realities are emotional; the pain and the passion are direct. It is a poetry with beauty and a poetry with little insulation offering to the reader the chance for involvement and the sharing of an understanding that is not easily reached.
